Here's just another reason (or maybe the same one I've used over and over; I've lost track) that I'm so happy we chose Sonlight for our homeschool.
Every single day, when I'm reading aloud to my kids, they beg for "just one more chapter." Beg.
Today, I instructed my 10 year old to "read the first two chapters of that book." About an hour later, I noticed she was still reading, and I asked, "Did you finish your two chapters?"
"Yes," she said. "I'm on chapter 5 now. I couldn't stop!"
We're speeding happily ahead!
(We are in our first year of Sonlight, using Core 4, with three kids, ages 5, 10, and 14.)
