03I made this quilt for Nathan last year before he was born. The pattern is called Lucky Stars. It was fun and easy, and I love the way it turned out. I used a western print for the star background, and assorted bandana prints, plaids, and other suitable prints for the rest of the blocks. The back is red bandana. It's called "lap size" which is larger than a crib size. Intead of using a store-bought batting, I lined it with an old flannel sheet. This makes it warm without being too bulky. It measures approximately 45" x 60." Everyone in the house has used it at least once, and both boys use it all the time.
